MK Dons SET deliver Christmas Hampers to 1800 people in the City of Milton Keynes with help from Sponsors

MK Dons Sport and Education Trust (SET) and a number of local partners have come together this Christmas to provide hampers for 1800 people within the community.

Last year, in 2021, 250 Christmas hampers were delivered to those in need in the city. This festive period, that number increased to 300, which will be enough to provide food and resources to 1800 people to last over the course of a week in what is a tough period of time for everyone.

The support from partners and kind donations from members of the public will help provide a luxury pack of food supplies that will support a family for over a week, as well as a gift card where families can purchase their own food to further support across the most difficult week between Christmas and New Year.

Volunteers and donations from Suzuki GB, Marshall Amplification (The Jim Marshall Charitable Trust), Yamaha, Brioche Pasquier, The Roofing Centre, Clearview Intelligence, MIRKA, MKDSA, The Perkins and Loughtons families (Andy, Rachel, Freya, Neve, Lesley and Norm), Climb Quest, Collaborate MK, MD Govier Electrical and Reedbut will provide valuable resources to those in need.

MK Dons Title partner, Suzuki GB, supported physically with volunteers as well as utilising Suzuki Cars and Bikes to distribute boxes. Director Martin Lloyd commented: “our employees and company have immense pride to be involved once again and support

Maralyn Smith, Chief Executive of MK Dons SET said: “Once again SET are overwhelmed with people’s generosity both in funds, time and willingness to get involved in delivering the boxes.”
