MK Dons SET are looking for members of the Milton Keynes community to support in providing hampers to fellow members of the community.
For 2022, MK Dons SET would like to support the local community once again, especially during the cost-of-living crisis. For this reason, MK Dons SET are being ambitious and are attempting to raise funds to support even more families and individuals.
This year, MK Dons SET will provide a luxury pack of food supplies that will support a family for over a week, as well as a gift card where families can purchase their own food so that this can stretch out over the most difficult weeks between Christmas and New Year.
Earlier this week, CEO Maralyn Smith sat down with Suzuki GB Director Martin Lloyd to discuss the initiative. With support already from MK Dons Title partner, Suzuki GB, Director Martin Lloyd spoke of how Suzuki look to support the Christmas hamper initiative. “Suzuki aim to support physically with volunteers on the 21st December as well as utilising Suzuki cars and bikes to distribute boxes”
Martin continued “Our employees and company have immense pride to be involved once again and support”
MK Dons SET also plan to provide restricted supermarket gift cards that will enable families to purchase foods and household essentials. The aim is to deliver a food parcel and the gift cards in person to families, so they are looking for support through donations and volunteering to provide boxes to families in need.
